I have a marantz PMD 321 CD player and a rane rpm 26v digital crossover/eq, both balanced. What impedance pot would i use? 10k or 100k ok?? thinking of using a 4 gang alps motorized. thanks for any help. I hope this is in the right section.

maybe I could test something to determine an appropriate impedance? I have a multimeter and that's about it for test equipment.
