My old beloved Danish made Danotherm soldering iron station (have not been in production for the last 10-15 years) needs a new soldering iron, and Danotherm can't help. My problem is that this special soldering station uses a 42 VAC soldering iron. Anyone knows of any irons running @ 42 VAC ??

ouch! I hate it when my special tools die. I have a desoldering station that is old and never was a name brand that i just love. I have scoured ebay for them as parts machines and now have enough spares to last my lifetime!
I think the wellers are 24vac. any chance you could modify your unit to run on 24Vac?? maybe with a 2:1 step down transformer? Otherwise any luck hunting them on eBay?? |
