New SIT - old problem

Several years ago, after acquiring Tokin Corp., NEC decided to exit SIT
production. The manufacturing facility (with the production equipment)
went to SRCC Corp. of Japan. They developed the new SITs (vertical)
for various applications (automotive, audio), SID (diode) and some
other products.
The new SIT for audio (SSA251M) has SOT-227 case and was used in
the production of the new line (MAXONIC) of power amplifiers.
Now, after 4 years in the SIT business, SRCC has filed for bankruptcy.
Old problems: limited demand/production.
Again, the new player took over: Digital Domain Corp. They, apparently,
produced the new SIT, or relabeled that SIT as 2SK77B, designed the new
amplifier named B-1a (as in Yamaha N-channel output design), 1M Yen.

Thanks for your news, but when i read about SIT, then i became a little nervousness, because it is very difficult finding and buying ones. :headbash:

Have you one idea about to buy these SSA251M?
I not understand reason beacuse the SITs not became very popular in audio industry today.
I am waiting for a SIT audio manifacturer yet.
