Default Hexateq Case

Hello DIY audio enthusiasts,
I took the plunge and ordered a beautiful Hexateq stereo case from Richar Krol. The case shipped from Europe and took about 1 month from date of order until date of delivery to my home in USA. The case is the stereo, extended aluminum case. I did not order the case with any cut-outs, as I haven't finalized my design. Total price for the case was $494.18 + $14.82 (foreign transaction fee) = $509. This is a lot of money, but exclusivity and quality have their price. The case is a work of art. My wife commented on how nice it looks. The curved corners are especially pleasing. Quality is very high.

Here are some pictures of how the case was shipped:

Shipping alone (included in the price above) was expensive.

Packaging is good. Could have used a few more foam peanuts to ensure superior protection though.

The case is carefully wrapped in protective foam too. Two allen wrenches are provided to disassemble the case.

All in all, it's a great product. There is no question that my future integrated DAC / amp will look and sound great.
