Default Can anyone ID this type of edge connector?

I've left the anti-persperant in shot to give an idea of scale.

There are three sizes on the board - an 8 pin, a 7 pin & a 3 pin. There'll all of the same tpe.....

Click the image to open in full size.

Grateful for info as to what this type of connector is called (& where to source them- I live in the UK).

Many thanks.....

Hello Hank, I can't say for sure, but the connectors look like either a product from JST or Molex Japan. Being that this is a card for a piece of Roland equipment, this would be likely, as all three are in Japan. Here's the website of both JST and Molex:

http://www.jst.com/
www.molex.com

Just about everyone carries Molex, but the Japan products may be a little scarcer. JST has a link listing distributors.
Get out the magnifier and some really good lighting and start looking closely at the connector body. There is probably some sort of identifying symbols/numbers. If you find those, that will help in your search. And if you still have problems and can post any identifying information, people may be able to help more.

Peace,

Dave

Measure the pin spacings as they come in various pitches, 2mm, 2.54mm etc.

Rapid may have them if not try RS, Farnell and the rest.

Good luck

John
