Default Help identifying IC

Sorry for this newbie question. I need help identifying an IC in my soundcard that has the following markings:

F PG7AB
MM74HC
74AM

It's difficult to be sure without more information, but the chip is likely to be a 74HC74 TTL dual D fipflop.

Yes that's right. Thank you so much! I found the complete part # MM74HC74AM at Newark.com. Manufacturer is Fairchild.

Factory code / date code / batch code - any number of
things you don't need to know once you have extracted
