Hi all
I've read some bad tihngs about the service these guys offer on here and just thought I'd share my recent experience with them. I ordered a single 50VA 2x18V toroid from them a few days ago. I got a call yesterday asking if I had received it and explaining they thought they had sent it to the wrong person. The transformer arrived today in fact and although it was the correct one, their site listed it as being 32mm tall, whereas the one I received was 42mm tall and thus wouldn't fit in the case I needed ity to. So that's the bad part. The good news though, is that they called me about sending it to the wrong person without me having to hassle them (before I had even realised the delay) and got it shipped out to me same day and it arrived next day, which to be honest is service you don't see much these days. I then called up their customer support about the size issue and was put straight through to a real person who apologised for the problem, arranged for a suitably sized transformer to be sent to me asap and let me keep the slightly large one anyway as it wouldnt be worth the return postage. So they clearly aren't the most efficient people in the world, but at least it's refreshing to deal with a company that offers great service when things go wrong. Despite all the problems, I'd definitely order again |
