Default Polarity of tantalum - need help

Can you help me identify which leg is positive and which is negative...

Look at any radial electrolytic tantalum datasheet at any online supplier and the answer will be obvious

Thanks, got it to work without flames...

I was looking for a + symbol, but it seems the line serves te same purpose..

For tantalum the line always indicate the +, strange convention as opposed to other capacitor

I like how tantalums glow red hot and shoot a red hot glowing embre flying across a room if you give them reverse voltage.

In tech school, I got some old and dead 386 & 486 motherboards and other cards with tants on them, and me and a few classmates were seeing how far we could shoot them burning through the air off of the boards
