I'm mounting some Speakons in my tapped horn, but the screw holes are really small...
Where can I get screws small enough for Speakon sockets? |

They are M3 bolts or #6 wood screws. Shouldn't be hard to get hold of from any hardware shop or DIY chain.

I tried some M3 bolts I had handy, but they were too big. They are proper Neutrik speakon socket, I would be able to post what type they are but the farnell website is down.
![]() Does anyone sell m2.5 or m2 nuts and bolts? |

Hi,
What speakons, link, pic? I've mounted many Neutrik speakons and recessed M3 fits nicely. Edit: Spec sheet tells that the mounting holes are 3.2mm, ie allows M3 bolts.

Hi,
The speakons you have are supposed to be mounted behind a thin panel and to be mounted with self winding "wood screws" into the speakons. They are made for pcb mount btw.

Hi,
Ok, drill the 2mm holes up to 3mm.
