This may need to go into General Video, but since this will involve electronics and building circuits I put it here.
Very badly do I want to build a VGA to Component converter so I can hook up my laptop to my 73" DLP TV. The damn things has 3 HDMI and 2 s-video inputs along with many many component inputs but no VGA! I made a VGA to Component cable but as you can guess, it didnt work. It seems that some ATI video cards support output as component through the VGA but I doubt mine will since it's on a laptop. I have an ATI Radeon 9600XT however, I dont want an ATI solution I want to build the converter that I can use for any VGI input and output to component. I've looked and have not found much to go off of. A schematic would be great. I've built circuits before so I do have some experience. I could buy a VGA to HDMI for $40 but I would rather build one. Any ideas or links? Thanks a million! |
