Inductor wound with THHN ?

I'm embarking on a ZenV5 style power supply and I'm toying with the idea of winding my own inductors.
What would be the likely outcome of using 16ga.THHN instead of enameled magnet wire?

Likely outcomes: you will need a slight bit more wire than with enamel coated wire; the wire will not retain a bend as easily thus being more difficult to wind into a tight coil.

That's about it. No significant detriment to the determined.

I have a thousand or so feet of the stuff and rarely use it anymore.
I'm stoked to see at least a couple hundred feet go to good use

I on the other coast have a thousand feet or so of unused 16AWG magnet wire! Maybe I too can find a slightly less than typical application for my wire.
