Default ATI Research cases

Hey all.

I recently attempted to order a few cases from ATI Research, and got a response that the company has closed !!!

Where am I supposed to get cases now ? Living in Australia, quality cases are hard to come by, and being stationed in Thailand, shipping costs were somewhat resonable ...

I guess there'd thlaudio, but ATI had some REALLY nice stuff !

Hi,

Try the cases from CNElecs.com:

Danny Liu will take good care of you

Cheers!

I've used a number of ATI Research cases, which were nice but made of thinner metals then I would have preferred. Lately, I've been purchasing enclosures from HiFi2000 (www.hifi2000.it) and am very pleased (the 10mm front panels are gorgeous). I can't speak to shipping costs to your side of the planet, but total cost (chassis plus insured shipping) to the US favors HiFi2000 -- a good thing, in my book.

Regards,
Scott

Well it was a couple months ago, and I tried both the web store and main site. I just sent email not orders, as I had a number of questions on fabrication options. My need has passed for the moment though, but I do like the looks of their cases.

I've had good correspondance from www.audiokit.it in regards to hifi2000 cases (plan to buy some soon from them), but hifi2000 don't have the dimensions I'm after.

I guess I'll give par-metal a shot. They've got the dimensions, just need to get some shipping costs ...
*shudder*

Folks:

HiFi2000 are certainly slow in responding (insert reference to enviable Italian lifestyle here), but persistence helps. Also, check the model numbers they quote carefully against the model numbers available on-line; errors occasionally slip in when they prepare the quote. But the products themselves are terrific and worth the effort.

Regards,
Scott
