Input selector: need help

I'm trying to make a relay controlled input selector, but I need some input on how to control the "relay-shifting";

Plan is to configure in such a way that when one relay's turn-on, it will turn off the previous relay.
(that only one relay can stay on at the time).

Can you please suggest what logic I need for controlling
the "8 Relay module" in this way? (picture).

(This circuit will also be remote controlled).

Where are you "logic" guys?

I found this circuit;

that will do the intended job, but I think it could be simplified?
And made with ttl ?

Any comments on this please?
