Yes. And yes. But are you suggesting that ringing or oscillation tendencies at MHz frequencies is benign, just because it's 'not in the audio band' ?

No, I'm not suggesting that. The problem in the blind swapping done in so many audiophile tweaks is that the person doing it (whether a DIYer or a "professional" modifier) is that they generally don't have the ability to verify that their tweaks haven't caused some instability.

The saving grace is that most times nothing bad happens.
