Hi
I'm looking for certain webs where I can buy Nichicon MUSE KG (Gold Tune series) and other audio parts (R, jacks, etc). I found out that Percyaudio.com offers a wilde collection of Nichicon caps, so I sent my order to them many times but I haven't had any response since the beginning of February. - Is Percy email "Michael@percyaudio.com" ? Does he have other valid emails for ordering? - Are there any online stores that also carry Nichicon KG? Thank you. |

With Michael you have to try a little hard. I had a thread around here about lack of response (I must check if I updated it, I think I did) from Percy audio, but once he did respond, we finished business in about 10 days (including delivery to the other side of the planet).
You have to send a few mails, and hopefully he should respond. His Muse range is much bigger and far as I can see, a little cheaper than minisemi. The reason I stuck with him was to keep my BG and KZ order with one source, as shipping to India does get a little expensive.. |

I like Mike but I had had the same problem with him the last time I ordered. After two weeks and several emails where I started to lay it down thick he finally came through. Just paypal him the money that will get his attention. I think he's had a few too many tire kickers to deal with and he wants to make sure you are serious.
He's got the goods for sure. |

Guys,
Here's how you deal with Percy Audio. Make a spreadsheet of the parts you need with cost info included. Mail a hardcopy of the spreadsheet along with a check for the full price of the parts plus appropriate shipping. In 4 days you will receive a package in the mail. (OK maybe longer than that; but I'm only 2 or 3 states away and that's how long it takes to/from where I am) The last time I placed an order I sent him maybe a dollar or two too much (because of cost breaks for quantity) and there was some cable in the order... so he sent me more cable than I ordered. He's an honest man. Its all good. Or.... you can email him 20 times and not get an answer and give up, thinking he doesn't exist or he doesn't care, or or or.

I'd LOVE to order from you, Minisemi, but you don't seem to carry the large solder-lug caps like Percy Audio does (15,000uf 63V, 22,000uf 63V, etc...)
Start stocking those, and you'll steal a lot of Percy Audio's business. I think Michael is a great guy, but the lack of communication from him is absurd. Another source for these large caps would be a relief. |
