My bad, both THL and Proton are Taiwan based.

I bought a pair of 50w from DIYCUB.BIZ out of Hong Kong shipping was $24 received them in a little over a week.

should anyone read through this thread looking for r cores.. these are the two interesting sites i've found.....

for good value and large and/or custom made r-cores:

Now I found local manufactuer here who can make me one as per order. I ordered quite a few and happy. But they do not export small quantity.
