Tube Dude:

Thanks your reply. But I heard about non- polarize capacitor is still need to define which side connect to the plate and which side connect to the grid cct. usually capacitor are roll the two layer of foil sandwiched with a sheet of insulator, and we consider the outside foil is negative. the cap. which has polarize are tan. cap., electrolytic cap. Because their electro liquid to form the insulation between the two potential.

From the ERO1813 cap. why there is a black ring marked on one side, and what it stand for, and what purpose is it?

Can you guide me to the place where these information are. and MKT, MKP stands for?

Thanks your help. many thanks.

The black ring indicate the side of the cap connected to the outer foil.

This side must be connected to the lower impedance side of the circuits , connected by the cap.

This way, the inner side will be protected ( shielded ) from picking up noise.

MKT, MKP stands for?

Types of construction and dielectric .

MKT- Metallized Polyester Film Capacitor´

MKP- Metallized Polypropylene Film Capacitor
