How to clean the silver connectors ?

Do you know a method to clean the RCA (chassis) silver connectors, such as the AudioNote silver or WBT Nextgen RCA silver , when they darnish ?

I mean a method that do not reduce their audio qualities and just remove the oxydation .

Look it up.. plain silver cleaning polish.... get it in cans at the supermarket... I know you get chemicals for cleaning silver jewelery as well, you submerge the silver in it...

Who knows what the Silvo will leave behind? The protection layer may not necessarily improve the sound.

Here is something cheap and safe to try. Just don't know if it removes the sulphide as well.

Caig Pro Gold is also reported to work.

Washing soda works better than baking soda; you can make it by baking your baking soda in your kitchen oven. Or substitute standard water softener as is used for laundry.
By the way, any residues from the Silvo can be removed by a final wiping with alcohol.

I am not lucky with the English terms used... it is a bit special for me to understand the diferences between "washing soda" or "baking soda"
!... LOL

Maybe I will try a product from Cardas dedicated to clean the contacts, as I do understand very well what you explained ... (my English needs an upgrade !)

If you can't find it, just use the baking soda. But there's a simple conversion procedure by simply applying heat:

Spread the baking soda on a baking sheet so it's in a thin layer. Set your kitchen oven to 200*C and bake the baking soda for a time depending on the amount, maybe 20 minutes to half an hour. The result is washing soda, as the carbon dioxide is given off.

no need to clean your connector it's better when oxyded
the more it's oxyded , the more it's conducting...it's like that whit siver platted connector, if you don't like this, try whit a french product: miror, it's amazing !

Nounours, je t’assure, l'argent oxydé n'est pas beau esthétiquement mais ça conduit mieux, c'est un fait, l'argent est le meilleur conducteur. L’or, c'est pour les blaireaux, ça conduit mal mais ça ne s'oxyde pas, donc, pour les constructeurs, le choix a été vite fait

Especially because silver can be directly galvanized on copper, but gold requires an intermediate layer of nickel over copper.
