Hi all,
The company I work for is building a high end watch winding device, but we need to source a rotary selctor to operate the product. The dial/selector needs to have a quality, weighted feel, and I thought a Hi Fi component would be ideal. I've contacted amplifier manufacturers but they haven't been much help, so I was wondering where the 'DIYers' got these components from? It needs to have at least 3 settings, (e.g. CD, Video, DVD etc) and needs to be a circular dial, and ideally no more than 50mm in diameter. Any help greatly appreciated, Ash |

I use the Grayhill 71 series, non-shorting switches in my pre-amps. Great quality and small size (less than 25mm across). There are many others brands that offer similar features-look at the Digikey catalogue.
Good luck. |
