I've been using Yageo metal film resistors for quite some time with good success.

Beyschlag resistors are supposed to be not bad, also Roederstein.
How good are Beyschlag resistors from Digi-Key?

I've just found two pairs of unused Texas Instruments 2N3716 2N3792 in my parts box (lurking at the bottom). I reckon they must be over 30 years old as I have had that box since I was about 8 or 9. Are they good for anything?

Hi,
buy 600mW metal film (mrs25) from rapid in 100 quantity and the price is about £2.20
These sound good if you keep the dissipation down, preferably below 10% but even upto 50% is OK.
I think the cheaper mf60 are just about as good.
