I see a datesheet of transformer as attach, so small and so big power!
Would you tell me is it a good quality transformer? 487W Diameter=123 High=57 |

3.2kg and 487VA seems about right.
primary wire gauge is very small @ 0.33sqmm carrying 6.4A/sqmm. secondary wire gauge is just as bad @ 1.3sqmm carrying 6.1A/sqmm. This transformer is likely to have a fairly high regulation for it's rating and will run a bit hotter than one with more copper. The low voltage secondaries are just about what is expected of current types.

The power rating is so high, because it is related to 73 deg. C rise, which means your transformer will be at ~100 degC.
Reduce current consumption in the secondary, and it will be cooler. |

The vendor tell me the Plitron transformer is one of the best over the world. As you comment, it seem to ...
If you give it a grade from 1 to 10. 10 is very good, 1 is very bad. Would you please give your comments? |
