hi everybody!
what are your opinions about mica caps in audio aplications? especially in amps... the toasted |

I use them where very small pF values are required and the only alternative is ceramic disc.
Exception: For power supply to ground by pass, the ceramin disc is a better choice since the key function is maximum HF bandwidth -- any noise or distortion added by the cer disc is dumped to ground. |
