Hi,
i've got a Roland Juno-60 and had to fix a loose connection. Doing that I saw this on the PCB (the white stuff). The synth sounds fine, but what do you think? Is this worth changing either the cap or the chip?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

A common occurrence with Juno 60's during the 1980s and 90's' was the mysterious appearance of powdery stains like this, which seemed to proliferate during the month of Oktober. Scientists investigated this typically German-only phenomena and discovered it was a specific strain of Hamburg doppelbock.
Interestingly, these investigators, who insisted on in-situ anaylsis, suggested the synth seemed to sound better, the more stains there were.
