Hi,
I am searching for cups to pot diy toroid chokes. Does anybody know where I can order them? What kind of material should I use to pot the toroids? Any kind of help or hint is welcome. |

How large are the cores?
I've heard of people using the caps to aerosol spray-paint cans before, for smaller toroids...And ABS/PVC 'end caps' for larger ones. Some ABS Stuff |

You could use a coffee or soup can. Emptied out and cleaned of course!
As far as what to use for potting, I'm pretty sure most companies use a 2 part mix. We use something at work that looks very similar to the potting in the center of Plitron toroids and it is a 2 part mix that cures fully in about 24 hours. I believe it is made by Loctite. Alternatively, you could use some kind of epoxy.
