I built a small 1 x 1 foot loop for AM BCB. It picked up a suprising amount of stations sans cap, and many more with it.
I tracked down a source for medium size caps. There are the miniature ones at Mouser, unfortunately 120 pF. Palstar has expensive ones, at 300+ pF, but MFJ has some affordable ones. Anyone know anything about Q? I'd also like a preselector, but the Palstar one is $300! |
