Replace 1N456A

I would like to replace National's 1N456A (low leakage diod) because I dont have them at home.

I have a bunch of others though, like:

1N4004
1N4007
1N4148
1N4935
1N4937

Im thinking 1N4148 would do the job. Is that correct or do you think I should go with one of the others?

If the use of 1N456A is not critical, 1N4148 should work.

Well it's for a DC-servo, the one in National's AN-1192 pdf.

For DC servo, 1N4148 will work.
