Can it be an output transformator?
You can build a Tube Amp, and use it as intended.
Or use it as filter choke in a power supply.

/halo - thinks a Tube Guy might recognize this thing

Solis State Amp can sometimes use output transformators
as well. Especially old, and especially guitar.
It might been a tradition kept going.

IMO this is power transformer.

Read the text on paper wrap: XX2V 600mA (this is secondary winding); 110V 50Hz (this is primary winding)

Yes, you've got yourself a little Power Transformator.
0.6 Ampere

But how much volt?
Make a rectifier and connect a Cap between + and -
and see how much is the unloaded voltage DC.

/halo - hopes you have 110VAC and not 230VAC mains.

I think it could be 12V, but if it's much larger than that, it could be say, 112V, to feed a doubler for a tube amp. But since it isn't a tube amp, that goes phut out the window goodbye...

You might use it for a door bell.

speaking of that.
Has anybody build any nice
DoorBell Amplifier recently?
It doesn't have to be high end,
but it does not hurt if the sound is good.
The guest would feel more welcome.

/halo - has only a 20 Watt Doorbell amplifier.
- gives enough volume for to notice the guests
