Hi,
I spent whole afternoon on the net try to find and buy this WZ240 zener diode, but no luck. It seems no one is selling this zeners no more. Anyone has a source for this? I've purchased 1N4749A from my local store but it did not work. I wonder if there are differences btwn Japanese made zeners as compare to ones we made.

The WZ240 is just a 24V, 500mW zener. If it didn't work, the cause is elsewhere.
