Has anyone tried the following acrylic film surface mount caps?
http://www.cornell-dubilier.com/catalogs/FCA.pdf I found these at Newark, although Digikey has what looks like the same or very similar cap made by Panasonic: http://www.panasonic.com/industrial/...8_ecpu_dne.pdf You can get up to 1uF @ 16V in a 1210 package, and cost is reasonable. The datasheet claims "good" audio performance, so at least they were thinking about it. Thanks for any info, John |

With a dissipation factor of 1.5%, I would guess these are slightly worse than polyester capacitors, which usually have DF specs like 1%.
[Polypropylene DF spec is usually about 0.1%] |
