Hi,
does anyone know who makes the transformers for all the Chinese ribbon mics? Not who makes the mics, but who makes the stock transformers. I've been able to contact a few mic makers who are willing to sell them (I've got a non-mic application for them) but would like to cut out the middleman, especially as I want to change the specs a little. Any info would be appreciated. thanks.

Hi,
Unfortunately, unless you want to buy a box of 10,000, you'll probably need a middleman (I did some research a while back). Good luck with your search! Cheers! |

At some point I may need that many (hopefully). Would you mind passing along that research in a PM?
thanks.
