Hello,
I have some BG Ns which I removed from a board some time ago. Seeing as the leads have been cut, how can I tell which is attached to the outside foil? The word "nonpolar" appears above one of the leads on all the caps I have. Is it consistently above the same lead? If so, is that the long or short one, and while I'm asking, which is connected to the outer foil?
TIA

NONPOLAR print is always on a side of short pin, which marks start of the foil.
Personally, I prefer to keep short pin as "positive" leg.
