Hello,
I have some BG Ns which I removed from a board some time ago. Seeing as the leads have been cut, how can I tell which is attached to the outside foil? The word "nonpolar" appears above one of the leads on all the caps I have. Is it consistently above the same lead? If so, is that the long or short one, and while I'm asking, which is connected to the outer foil? TIA |

the Non Polar appears consistant and marks the short leg i.e. the "negative"leg. Rob. |

Personally, I prefer to keep short pin as "positive" leg.
