Anyone have a suggestions for low noise voltage regulators in a standard 3 leg to-220 package? I need 3.3V and 5V outputs.

For adjustable +ve VRs, Linear Technologies LT1084 are a good bet if pricey; for fixed their LT1584CT-3.3 for the +3.3V and LT1084CT-5 for the +5.0V. Check voltage and current ratings are suitable for the app.
If you need matching +ve and -ve then ON Semi's MC7805CT & MC7905CT are a really decent quiet and cheap alternative, well ahead of similarly priced rivals, that can be adjusted to 3.3V as well if necessary. |
