Unhappy Need help with forwarding ebay item from US to Germany

There is an exotic scope plug-in on ebay and the US seller will not ship internationally.

It is not large or heavy.

Anybody who can help me eventually ?

Also the seller accepts paypal only which means shipping to other than my registered address

I don't know how to handle this...

Why not? It's a global market.

I've sold CRT projector parts internationally and it's not a big deal provided that the package fits within the USPS global express limits, the recipient is willing to pay for delivery by airmail (About $25 + $3 a pound to Europe with no dimensional charges like FedEx or UPS), and the recipient is willing to pay local customs + VAT (you can't insure the package for more than the listed value on the customs forms).

It'll get there in 3-5 business days and USPS will confirm delivery for paypal.

The only difference from domestic shipping is that the seller has to look up shipping regulations for the country in question as far as invoice requirements (some require a separate duplicate invoice) and it may be advantageous for customs purposes to split multi-item shipments up.

Insurance claims for loss take a couple of months though.

Bernhard, did you try emailing him? I often post auctions for USA only and have been approached by EU residents with good feedback ratings in which case I will usually tell them it is ok to bid.

Maybe there is some company specializing in this? Iceland has a company with a US address that things you buy can be sent to, and then they have regular transports from there to Iceland. I think you pay the seller, and then pay this company separately for their services. I have no idea if any other country has such a service, but why not? If Iceland is large enough for one, surely Germany, or EU together should be.
