What do you guys reccomend for binding posts?

I am rebuilding a pair of MK3 dynaco monoblocks. I need binding posts. I have been going around and around on what to use.

I will be using banana plugs. I just need a good clean solid reliable connection. I don't want to have to take the amps back apart to replace connectors with bad plating or whatever.

Whats the best bang for the buck? I can't afford WBT.

Ideally I could get 6 so I could have posts for common, 4 and 8 ohm taps on the back.

I did see some flush mount banana recepticles from Phoenix gold which looked interesting. Gold plated brass I am sure.

I do like the idea of something low profile.

I've used the beefy gold plated >1" posts for sub enclosures. They're great. I've seen many projects use the insulated WBT clone posts. At less than half the price you can't really go wrong.

At $12/pair I really like the silver plated Audionote (ANOTE-65203) at Partsconexxion.

Glad you guys have actually seen them up close and personal. I was worried the build quality wouldnt be so great.

But then you have to buy the binding plate too don't you? There isn't any way to cut a notch into MDF for the " keyed 11.5mm hole" ??

I like those, but something insulated which would be good so I dont blow up the amp.

I imagine these are brass thats been plated right?
