Anyone have a schematic for sale or trade?I've got two badly cooked resistors between pins 6 and 2 that I can't identify.
Thanks in advance! Doug

Forgot to mention these resistors are on two of the EL84 sockets.

Those are probably grid-stoppers. 2k2 is a safe value, but you need to investigate what cooked them in the first place (a shorted coupling cap and/or output tube would be my first guesses).

Thanks for the reply. The old ones appeared to be 10 ohms but to burned to know for sure. The other two on the remaining EL84's are 1000.Maybe that's what they are.I agree that an output tube could be the cause and that's a shame because the one tube that is dead is a Bugleboy.I should have known better than to take the sellers word that the amp worked fine.Shame on me.I guess the tube could have been on it's way out anyway.
Thanks!Doug |
