Default Partsconnexion

I've recently placed my first order with Partsconnexion and followed up with an email after a week but have had no replies nor has there been any financial transactions.

Are they still trading?

Thanks for the replies guys.

Just received an email from them an hour ago so all is cool.

Moderators, could you please delete this thread as I don't want to cast any aspersions on Partsconnexion.

Thanx.

I am about 10 min down the road from them I can go pester them if needed.

They are always great when I order parts. Sometimes on items like the Hammond chassis they do not keep them all in stock as the production plant in in town and it just takes a few days to have them sent over.

Enjoy your parts

They said they sent my order on April 4th, but I didn't get the parcel until today. They could just cover $100 of my lost and cannot provide any document to prove it!!!

Will never have any business with them

Here you are: http://www.canadapost.ca/personal/of...features-e.asp

Small Packet USA (or International) is the most economical way to ship for weights under 1kg; insurance is included with maximum coverage $100.

"I will tell this to you once again so that you can understand it better. Canada Post will only give us $100 for every lost parcel. We in turn will cover your cost up to $100, obviously in USD as that is the currency we deal with. Once the parcel leaves our site we have no control over what happens to it. Customs can get involved in your country, the mailman could lose the parcel, it could be under a table somewhere in your local postal facility until it is found. These are all possible scenarios with every parcel that leaves our site, whether it be to the USA, within Canada or overseas. I can provide proof of shipping if you will provide me with a fax number, which as of yet, you have not done. We will ONLY cover up to $100 of the lost parcel cost. THIS IS OUR POLICY. It has never changed, nor will it change. There are no tricks or foolery going on. Your parcel simply got lost, it happens occasionally. This is the chance you take by not choosing FedEx for delivery. Thank you.
"

How does PartsConnexion prove to Canada Post the parcel is lost?

"I can provide proof of shipping if you will provide me with a fax number, which as of yet, you have not done. We will ONLY cover up to $100 of the lost parcel cost."

if partsconnexion had the docs, why the parcel cannot be tracked?

they cannot scan the document and send by e-mail?
