I have a 24dB/oct LPF/HPF crossover for my speakers.
Actually I am using BB OPA134PA. As a input stage I am using BB OPA627AP. Do AD825/AD8620 or LM4562 sound better than BB OPA134PA? |

Yes they will except for the times they don't.
Really, whether one op-amp sounds better than another is a matter of taste. When we ship car amps to some Asian markets, we found some people there swear that JRC4559s sound better than anything else. I think they are horrid myself. They are the cheapest crap possible. Maybe that is why almost all the Asian amps use them. Cheap and a lot of people there like the sound. I like the OP275 myself. But then I am 55 and heard too much rock over the years. Dan

I don´t think I will ever try to use RC4559 in any active circuit.
