So I will start using 63/37 Kester solder. My question is RA, or RMA?
I understand that the benefit of RA is better oxide removal, but the residues could need cleaning. Kester specifies that they don't (if I remember well), so maybe this is no drawback.
About the fumes? For some reason, I tend to think that getting more active solder should perhaps involve more hazardous fumes too...Is this assumption valid by any means?
If not, I believe RA is a better choice, if you don't have to remove any residues.
