Looking for something cheap to work with an electret mic for speaker measurement. I'm not sure if this thread should be here or in the loudspeaker forum but don't want to cross-post. This kit has been developed as preamp module for a number of audio applications where there is insufficient input signal. Use as a microphone pre-amplifier or for level correction. Power required: 10-30VDC / 10mA Output impedance: 1Kohm Adjustable output level: max. 40dB Frequency range : 20Hz to 20KHz ± 3dB Max. input signal : 40mV PCB dimensions: 1.2" x 1.7" K1803

Well that Mic preamp looks pretty cheaply Made pluss it isn"t ballanced and has no Phantom power to Power an electret mic and it has Electrolytic Caps in the signal Path.....
You can probably make one that privides the same quality audio output for cheaper than one you can buy one...... http://www.epanorama.net/pdf_redirec...uits/Micro.GIF or http://www.redcircuits.com/Page49.htm both of these curcuits will probably produse just as good or better audio than the one you posted and could probably be made for a couple Bucks...... Cheers |
