Anyone know a book(s) or web site that can teach me how to turn a DAC chip like a PCM 1738 into a actual working circuit? With all the low jitter PLL clock generators and control circuits. I want to take my audio knowledge into the world of practical digital. I looked at the TI data sheet for the PCM 1796 and most of it is "Greek" (or is that Geek!) to me.
