Folks:
Does anyone know a source for high quality metal remote controls? I am thinking about building an Aleph P 1.7 in a pair of HiFi 2000 "Slim Line" enclosures (http://www.hifi2000.it/default.asp?id=2&mnu=2) and would like to have a sleek metal remote as well. Since I'll probably buy the remote control kits from Dantimax, the remote will need to be compatible with the RC5 protocol. Any suggestions? Thank you, Scott |

How about buying a cheapy plastic remote control and remounting it in a metal box with the button holes cut to fit? There are places on the web that will cut enclosures to spec for pretty low cost...

Okay, that's a new one for me. I would have thought that the cost of locating a suitable metal box (any recommendations?) and having someone else cut the holes would have been pretty expensive. Do you have any examples? Thanks, Scott |
