Hi, I'm thinking about playing around with a design posted a while back that uses these two devices. The poster stated the following:
What I did at the time was find the biggest available P-channel part (the RFG60P06, made by Harris which became Intersil which became Fairchild), and then measured a dozen or so likely candidates to find the best complement. That turned out to be the IRCP054. We used the version with the current-sensing leads in order to easily measure the bias current. I haven't been able to find any of these devices lying around at the usual places (bdent, mcmelectonics, electronix, etc.), so I thought I'd ask for a possible source, or replacement. thanks! |

i think those devices had some unique specs for their time.
not sure what would currently replace them. for the schematic in question (many of us know which it is the next day, i called the mosfet manufacturers for samples, because i wanted to experiment with such a configuration myself. i never did and gave the devices away. good luck ... mlloyd1 |
