Unhappy Need Help !

As IŽam new on this forum, at first Helo to all users

I need a big HELP !

I have a SONY CDP-XA 50 ES but the Optical pick up is dead.

I canŽt find it nowere !

The following part is :

- Optical Pick Up : KSS-273B/J1N
- Part Nr. : 8-820-014-01

Please can You tell me where to look and where to find, because I send so manny mails to Sony-mechanics, but nothing 0-points

Thanks, will check out the link. I just stumbled over the article that I referenced, a friend of mine has SONY CDP-XA 50 ES (or a very similar model) and it is skipping tracks and stopped reading disks altogether, just spinning. My initial reaction was also to buy a new laser but maybe this is not needed after all.
