We have made speaker cable & interconnects out of Cat 5 strands... it works quite well... it is especially frugal, leaning on the millions of miles made for the computer industry

They sound very good... especially for the money.
For speaker wire i use a single spaced pair... (my wire is cryoed) ![]() Chris configured his a bit different. His interconnects are would around (90 degree crossing) a plastic fish tank line and terminated in Eichmann copper plugs. dave
