Fired the sub up last night and for a guy that is not easily impressed, I was. Definitely not much of a 40Hz box but it was louder than I expected/for $360. I am also impressed with the XO and bass boosting options. You can definitely dial in a nice house curve that suits different genres. Even at extreme settings it still sounds integrated but it really shines once dialed in. Very cool to have such a powerfully accurate system running from only a headphone jack of an ipod/phone/PC and no mixer/XO/multiple amps/speaker cords.
