Forget about 10" or 8", go for 12" or 15".
Dayton PA310-8 is OK, but consider also Fane Sovereign 12-300
https://www.solen.ca/documents/pdf/fane/12300.pdf
and Eminence Gamma 15-2

Its more of a sub.
I use the FS 15-600LF as a sub.
A Fane Sovereign 12-250TC would be better.
Or a 12-200LC.
2x12 doesn't go any lower than 1x12. Just 6dB more output and 6dB more heavy. If you're planning on using "a sub" with these a 1x12 is all you need. I run a pair of 2x12/2" alongside four horn subs, and it's about right for bass heavy music - you won't need 2x12 unless you have enough bottom to go with them.
So you want to make a cheesy homemade enclosure with 2 cheesy $23 guitar speakers (35W) because you are not happy with your 1000W big woofer titanium diaphragm driver 2 way biamplified processed system?Now I. have behringer B112D... now you understand why I want to buils something new
What am I missing here?
Oh ..... it's the ...... LABEL?
"Behringer bad bad bad !!!!!!!" ???????????
OK, no big deal, you can :
* paint it flat black
* straight pull it
* get your trusty Sharpie[tm] pen and a Post It [tm] note, write JBL [tm] in big bold letters on it and stick it covering the .... ugh! ..... Behringer label.
I bet it feels much better now, doesn't it?
ahahaha you need to ear them before commenting my opinion.
1 the "big woofer" is the worst quality I've ever heard, this it is only 800W peak for the woofer and 100W for de high...it's not a titanium driver it's a aluminuium driver the amp is ok but the rest... no! it's a 200$ speaker... the amp is include in this price... I have a iNuke amp and Im very happy with it... the problem isnt the label, it's the bad quality product... maybe you should try thwm in a gig without subs... they sound bad the bass is bad and very not present... try them before telling me what to do... also I want a all passive system... so please respect my opinion if you dont know why Im thinking like this
