Hi, This can be used as a super tweeter crossed over above 8000 hz with a 1.5 mfd cap or so. You would do this if your speakers are not bright enough. This product would be a bad choice as the main high horns. Most theater systems use a crossover point of 500 Hz to 1250 Hz and need a heavy duty large format driver like EV DH1, JBL 2446, Radian 850, etc If the main hi horns are out just have these repaired. Bye, VECTORDJ

Vectordj is right on the money, the Fostex T90A is a supertweeter. If using a passive crossover, I'd choose a steeper slope than the 6db/oct a single cap provides. My preference is 24db/oct, but this takes many components to realize in passive. If using an active crossover, use a cap also, but choose one whose crossover frequency is below the intended crossover point, to serve as protection against mishaps. A tweeter such as the FostexT90, or the JBL 2402 does not have much tolerence for out of band signal.
