Take a look at my findings at Doctor Boar; DIY loudspeakers and HiFi
I have tested a 12" driven La Scala and the widest bandwith is with quite high Q low Fr drivers, highest effiency was with the classical high Fr low Q. Surprisingly the bass horn works way over the calculated mass roll off.

Active crossovers are good

audio mind I emailed him and he has not replied which 10" is appropriate for this small 10" clone LaScala. Thanks!
