I'm just returning to Music after a 6 year break. I'm a keyboard player, make backing trax and work mainly with female vocalists. Now only as a hobby, I can give you a face lift with complex surgery but can't work out what to do with a PA system. I'm looking at Behringer 315D x 2 Active speakers Vs Mackie 15" Thumps. This gear will all go in a bedroom studio and occasionally out to small halls.
Which would you go for? please .. The Behringers have it on power but you can't get them here in the UK, supply is awful. The Mackies; I used to have the SRM 450's - they were awesome but the Thumps are only 400 watts per side RMS and I've heard there have been quality issues with both brands. What would you do? - I'm just about to buy .. just come back from the shop. I'd be truly grateful for ALL advice. Thank you so kindly. My kind regards.. Q007 |
